The SEA LIFE TRUST Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a charity that rescues and rehabilitates grey seal pups from around the Cornish coastline.
Each season (September - March), the Sanctuary rehabilitates over 70 seal pups that have been rescued for various reasons, from malnourishment to being separated from their mum.

The Sanctuary also provides a permanent home to animals that need special care from our team of marine animal experts.
When visiting the Sanctuary, you can experience wonderful marine animals up close and personal and learn all about their individual stories.

One of the biggest maritime music festivals in Europe! The town will play host to hundreds of hours of free to attend shanty performances, with only our special Gala Concert ticketed, with proceeds going to the RNLI. Falmouth will be filled with music, singing and infused with a great community spirit. The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival is held at multiple venues throughout the town with main stages being Seasalt Stage on Custom House Quay, Skinners Stage on Events Square (Discovery Quay) and Seven Stars Stage on The Moor.

Endorsed by our regular visitors Gill & John who had a fantastic two days and would Certainly recommend it for anyone next year. They met Port Isaac's Fisherman's Friends and Betty Stoggs, Johns new "lady friend"!

St. Anthony Boat Hire

We have diesel launches suitable for larger families or for fishing further out in Falmouth Bay, and outboard motorboats better for the beautiful upper reaches or for lazing in one of the coves.

Sailors will enjoy our Drascombe Longboat cruisers, Wayfarers, Lasers and the Toppers so popular with teenagers.

Single and double kayaks, as well as rowing boats, are available from St. Anthony and enable access at high water to over a mile of  gorgeous unspoilt river leading to the head of Gillan Creek, and can also be used on the Helford in fair weather.

Our boats have full safety equipment and lifejackets. Instruction is given on the motorboats; only competent sailors may take the sailing boats, though sailing tuition is available (see below).

From novice to sailor, from family to fisherman, whether you hire for a couple of hours or a full week, you will be enchanted by the magic of the river.

As Ratty said... 'There is nothing, absolutely nothing half so much worth doing as just messing about in boats
